The Power of Words

Psalms 52 and 53:  A recurring theme about the power of words re-emerges in the opening verses of Psalm 52, in which the wicked have tongues like razors and love lying and words that devour (v. 1-3). But the righteous prevail and they use the words to their power: "I will proclaim your name, for it is good."
Psalm 53 is a repeat of Psalm 14, with some slight variations. I'm not clear why two really similiar psalms would be included in the final collection of 150. Part of the answer could be that they are in different books. Anyone out there who can shed light on this repetition?
