Sunday quote 1:
O God, do not keep silence;
do not hold your peace or be still, O God!
Psalm 83: 1
Sunday quote 2:
My soul longs, indeed it faints for the courts of the Lord;
.....
For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
than live in the tents of wickedness.
Psalm 84: 1, 10

It is interesting to see that the list of Israel's foes in Psalm 83:6-8 includes many relatives – Edom (=Esau, brother of Jacob), Ishmaelites (descendants of Isaac’s brother), and Moab and Ammon (sons of Lot, Abraham’s nephew). I guess you really can’t pick your relatives.
